About RoboMarket
Buying a robotics part means opening eight tabs, comparing prices in three currencies, and discovering at checkout that the cheap one ships from outside the EU. RoboMarket exists to make that one search.
How it works
Every night we pull the catalogues of the suppliers we support through their own APIs. Prices are converted to euros at the reference rate so they are actually comparable, and the same part sold by several suppliers is grouped under one entry by manufacturer part number, then barcode, then text similarity.
Search combines full-text matching with semantic vector search, so a query like "quiet servo for a small arm" finds products whose description never uses those words. Specifications are extracted from the seller's data and become filters.
For a purchase decision, the price on the page is not the number that matters. We estimate the delivered cost — shipping, VAT, and customs duty for non-EU sellers — and mark the offer that is really cheapest, which is often not the first row.
How we make money, and what it does not buy
Affiliate commission on some outbound links. You pay the same price; the seller pays us.
That commission changes nothing about what you see. Ranking never takes it into account, no seller can pay for placement, and a supplier with no affiliate program is indexed exactly like the others. It is written into the architecture: no affiliate link exists in the database, the identifier is added at the moment of the click.
What we do not do
We do not test products and we publish no reviews of our own. When we say a part is quiet, we are repeating what the seller published.
We do not sell anything, and we do not take your money or your address.
We do not build advertising profiles. The measurement we do — and only with your consent — tells us which searches return nothing, which is how we decide what to index next.
