L'utilisation d'un stockage rapide SSD NVMe, à la place de la microSD, accroit significativement les performances générales d'une carte Raspberry Pi 5. Programmation et communication : Un guide d'installation et de configuration est disponible sur le site de Pimoroni (en anglais uniquement). Connectique : Cette platine se monte sous la carte Raspberry Pi 5 et se connecte au port PCIe avec une nappe incluse. Contenu : - 1 x module NVMe avec 2 emplacements M.2 Key M - 1 x jeu de vis et d'entretoises de fixation - 1 x jeu de pieds adhésifs antidérapants - 1 x nappe PCIe Remarques : L'installation de Raspberry Pi OS sur le NVMe nécessite une microSD avec Raspberry Pi OS ou une installation via réseau local. Ce module est uniquement compatible Raspberry Pi 5 et nécessite au minimum le firmware en date du 17/02/2024 pour pouvoir booter dessus. NVME Base est également disponible pour un seul SSD NVMe, voir PIM699 (sans SSD) et PIM701 (avec SSD 250 GB). Les SSD NVMe sont à prévoir séparément, voir la liste de compatibilité. Un kit avec 2 SSD de 250 GB est également disponible, voir PIM706.
